Upon inheriting an abandoned family home, we also inherited the squatters who inhibited it. After thoughtful consideration and quite a bit of research we decided to sell the home as it was in complete disrepair and far too much for us to take on (not to mention dealing with the squatters as well as their mess).
It was a pleasure working with Brian and his group at Property Cartwheel. The entire process was smooth and seamless; Brian was out of town on our closing date and worked to ensure that he would still be able to sign and certify his portion of the necessary paperwork.
On top of all of it, Brian validated the loss we felt at deciding to sell the home. Not only were we offered a fair and reasonable price but he thought to send us photos of the remodel both during as well as at the end of construction. It’s a great pleasure knowing that all parties involved in the process of selling and remodeling this home benefited. We love that the house itself was restored and enhanced and that a new family (rather than squatters) is now able to call it home.
